My Holiday

       Last week I went to Mount Bromo. I stayed at my friend's house in Probolinggo, East Java. The house has a big garden with colorful flowers and a small pool.

       In the morning, my friend and I saw Mount Batok. The scenery was very beautiful. We rode on horseback. It was scary, but it was fun. Then, we went to get a closer look at the mountain. We took pictures of the beautiful scenery there. After that, we took a rest and had lunch under a big tree. Before we got home, we went to the zoo at Wonokromo. We went home in the afternoon.

       We were very tired. However, I think it was really fun to have a holiday like this. I hope my next holiday will be more interesting.

Terjemahan:

Minggu lalu saya pergi ke Gunung Bromo. Aku tinggal di rumah teman saya di Probolinggo, Jawa Timur. Rumah memiliki taman besar dengan bunga berwarna-warni dan kolam kecil.
        Di pagi hari, teman saya dan saya melihat Gunung Batok. Pemandangan itu sangat indah. Kami naik di atas kuda. Itu menakutkan, tapi itu menyenangkan. Lalu, kami pergi untuk mendapatkan melihat lebih dekat gunung. Kami mengambil gambar dari pemandangan yang indah di sana. Setelah itu, kami beristirahat dan makan siang di bawah pohon besar. Sebelum kami pulang, kami pergi ke kebun binatang di Wonokromo. Kami pulang ke rumah di sore hari.
        Kami sangat lelah. Namun, saya pikir itu benar-benar menyenangkan untuk memiliki liburan seperti ini. Saya berharap liburan berikutnya saya akan lebih menarik.

TURTLES

Turtles belong to a group of animals called reptile.

Turtles is is native of the Southern American region, and now it has been Found in many places in the world. Turtles live in the desert, grasslands, forest, swamps, rivers, seas, and fresh water. They lay eggs in the sand.

Turtles have four legs, five fingers, tail, jaw, and have no teeth. Turtles are scaly animals and they have a hard shell and rigid. Upper shall is called the “CARAPACE” and the bottom shell is called ”PLASTRON” . They have bulgy eyes. Turtles are animals which lay eegs and can live more then 150 years. It has a length of about 15-30 cm.

Turtles can be herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores. Turtle’s foods are :

a. Fruits and Vegetables, like ( carrots, tomatoes, bananas, cabbage, and lettuce )

b.  Aquatic plants, water lily

c. Crickets

d. Worms

e. Snail

f. Raw meats, poultry, fish etc.

Turtles can swimp and dig the sand for save their eggs. Turtles are very heavy shell and the turtle can protect them  selves from threats by hiding the head, legs, and tail into the shell.

Kura-kura milik kelompok hewan yang disebut reptil.
Turtles adalah adalah asli dari wilayah Amerika Selatan, dan sekarang telah Ditemukan di banyak tempat di dunia. Kura-kura hidup di padang pasir, padang rumput, hutan, rawa, sungai, laut, dan air tawar. Mereka bertelur di pasir.

Kura-kura memiliki empat kaki, lima jari, ekor, rahang, dan tidak memiliki gigi. Kura-kura adalah hewan bersisik dan mereka memiliki cangkang keras dan kaku. Shell atas disebut "carapace" dan shell bawah disebut "plastron". Mereka memiliki mata bulgy. Kura-kura adalah hewan yang bertelur dan dapat hidup lebih dari 150 tahun. Ini memiliki panjang sekitar 15-30 cm.
Turtles dapat herbivora, karnivora, dan omnivora. Makanan kura-kura adalah:
a. Buah dan Sayuran, seperti (wortel, tomat, pisang, kubis, dan selada)
b. Tanaman air, water lily
c. jangkrik
d. cacing
e. siput
f. Baku daging, unggas, ikan dll
Kura-kura bisa berenang dan menggali pasir untuk menyimpan telurnya. Kura-kura memiliki shell yang sangat berat dan kura-kura bisa melindungi diri mereka dari ancaman dengan menyembunyikan kepala, kaki, dan ekor ke shell.
